Uzbekistan has ratified the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education.

As of today, 38 countries are Parties to the Global Convention, while approximately ten additional states are in the process of acceding to it.

Under the framework of the Global Convention, mechanisms for the mutual recognition of higher education qualifications (diplomas) apply exclusively among the countries that are Parties to the Convention.
