A new Presidential Decree aimed at improving the environmental situation in the capital city has been signed. In accordance with the Decree, a special commission has been established to implement urgent measures to enhance ecological conditions in Tashkent.

The Commission is entrusted with the following tasks:

✔️ Temporarily suspending or terminating the operations of greenhouses and other facilities that have a negative impact on atmospheric air quality.

✔️ Ensuring the implementation of previously issued decrees, resolutions, and assignments within the powers granted by the new Decree, including monitoring the compliance of industrial enterprises with legal requirements on the use of filtration systems.

✔️ Monitoring the execution of measures outlined in the Presidential Decree dated 19 November 2025 concerning the ecology and tourism sectors, including the gradual phase-out of AI-80 gasoline.

✔️ Introducing restrictions and new requirements for construction activities, such as the installation of dust-reducing equipment during construction and the adoption of additional environmental standards.
