A memorandum was signed between the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and the German International Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of the regional project “Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia (PROGRESS).” The main objective of the memorandum is to integrate green skills into the national qualifications system and to systematically implement the principles of sustainable development. Within the framework of the document, the following priority areas have been identified: In addition, identifying emerging green occupations and future high-demand skills, as well as promoting the widespread implementation of sustainable development principles in vocational education and training (VET) and lifelong learning systems, has been recognized as an important task. This cooperation represents a significant step in advancing the national qualifications system in line with modern global trends and in developing a skilled workforce aligned with the requirements of the green economy.
