An international seminar-training titled “European Experience in the Development and Management of the Register of Professional Qualifications” was organized at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System in cooperation with the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan.

The event brought together secretaries of sectoral councils, members of working groups, as well as international experts, participating in both offline and online formats.

During the seminar-training, the following issues were discussed:

• scientific and methodological foundations for developing the register of professional qualifications;
• effective mechanisms for managing qualifications systems in European countries;
• digitalization of the register and data integration;
• ensuring effective alignment between the education system and the labor market.

The event was held in the spirit of open dialogue, including Q&A sessions and practical discussions. It provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about best practices.

The seminar-training plays an important role in advancing the national qualifications system in line with international standards, ensuring the systematic development of qualifications, and improving mechanisms for their effective management.
