A meeting was held at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System with the participation of experts from the Asian Development Bank.

During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at developing the qualifications system, the achieved results, and the priority tasks for the future.

In turn, international experts shared recommendations on improving the qualifications system based on the experience of developed countries, best practices, and modern approaches.

In addition, issues related to updating professional standards in the fields of energy, construction, housing and коммунal services, building materials industry, transport, and automotive industry were discussed. The participants also addressed the analysis of emerging professions and the enhancement of specialists’ competencies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on establishing long-term cooperation in these priority areas.
