In cooperation with the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and the Sectoral Council on the Development of Professional Qualifications in the Energy Sector, a roundtable discussion was held at the International Business Center within the framework of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s project “Human Capital Development in the Renewable Energy Sector.”

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Tashkent State Technical University, ACWA Power Uzbekistan, Ernst & Young Advisory LLC, Solar Nature LLC, Yashil Energiya LLC, ECO Energy Sources LLC, Eco Sun Energy LLC, as well as leading experts in the energy sector.

During the meeting, participants discussed the importance of ensuring that the professional standards under development comply with both international and national requirements. This alignment is expected to contribute to the labor market by providing a workforce that meets global standards. Such meetings and roundtable discussions play a crucial role in further improving the activities of the Sectoral Councils.
