Recent Developments and Future Plans in the Vocational Education System Discussed

A regular “Donor Coordination” meeting was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

The event was attended by First Deputy Minister Sardor Rajabov, Director of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education Baxtiyor Yo‘ldoshev, Head of UNESCO’s Tashkent Office Sara Noshadi, as well as representatives of foreign embassies and international donor organizations.

During the meeting, participants discussed the latest developments in the vocational education system, the work carried out from the beginning of 2025 to the present, and issues related to ensuring the quality of education, developing dual education, and enhancing teacher qualifications. In addition, special attention was given to establishing effective cooperation with sectoral councils and qualification assessment centers within the qualification system.

Presentations were delivered by representatives of UNESCO, GIZ, Helvetas, and other international organizations.

At the conclusion of the discussions, the participants outlined key tasks aimed at further developing the vocational education system, introducing advanced international practices, and strengthening continuous information exchange and cooperation.
