At the initiative of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a regular practical seminar was organized for the working group of the sectoral council for the development of professional qualifications in the fields of investment, banking, and trade.

Nearly 40 representatives from state and private commercial banks participated in the event, exchanging views on pressing issues in the sector.

During the seminar, issues regarding the improvement of professions and positions in the banking sector based on modern requirements, their adaptation to economic needs, and the development of proposals for the National Classification of Occupations were discussed.

Furthermore, advanced methodological approaches for developing qualification handbooks for employee positions in the banking system were presented, emphasizing the necessity of conducting functional analysis by positions and systematically defining specific qualification requirements and job duties.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the consistent continuation of work in this direction, the improvement of the professional qualification development system in the banking sector, and the enhancement of the potential of highly qualified specialists were identified as priority tasks.
