The Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System, in cooperation with UNESCO international experts, continues its series of seminar-training sessions for representatives of Sector Skills Councils. Today marked the commencement of the next phase of this educational and practical programme.

As part of the seminar, international expert Olav Aarna is delivering presentations and practical sessions on the topic “Developing the National Qualifications Register: International Experience and Practical Approaches.”

During the event, participants are exploring the purpose and significance of the National Qualifications Register, the methodological principles underlying its development, international best practices, as well as the criteria for classifying qualifications and incorporating them into the Register.

The three-day seminar is expected to produce practical recommendations on the effective use of the National Qualifications Register in the development and revision of vocational education programmes, ensuring that learning outcomes meet labour market needs, and strengthening the linkage between occupational standards, qualification requirements, and the vocational education and training (VET) system.
