A practical seminar was organized within the framework of the “SKILL UP” project, implemented by the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment in cooperation with the international company NIRAS.

Held in cooperation with the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET), the seminar focused on the topic “Building Fundamental Concepts Based on the SFUVET Approach: SKA Analysis and Development of Relevant Training Courses.”

The event was attended by A. Opayev, Legal Counsel at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System, and A. Uzakbayev, Head of the Qualifications Assessment and Accreditation Group.

During the seminar, participants took part in practical sessions on Skills, Knowledge and Attitudes (SKA) analysis, analysis of occupational activities, identification of competencies required for specific occupations, and the development of curricula and training programmes for non-formal education courses.

The seminar was led by Emanuel Andreas Wüthrich, Senior Advisor for International Relations at SFUVET and Head of the Swiss International Academy for Vocational Education and Training.

The outcomes of the seminar will contribute to the development of short-term vocational training courses within the “SKILL UP” project that are aligned with labour market and employer needs, the integration of training content with practical activities, and the further improvement of competency assessment mechanisms.
