The Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System organized an online professional development course for candidates seeking to become experts involved in the accreditation of qualification assessment centres.

The five-day training programme covered the regulatory and legal framework of the qualification assessment system, national and sectoral qualifications frameworks, professional standards, as well as the interrelationship between professional standards and the qualification assessment system.

The training sessions also addressed the following key areas:

🔹 procedures for accrediting qualification assessment centres;
🔹 formation of accreditation teams and their key responsibilities;
🔹 assessment of the activities of qualification assessment centres based on established accreditation criteria;
🔹 document analysis and preparation of evidence-based conclusions;
🔹 use of the unified digital platform of the national qualifications system;
🔹 risk management, professional ethics and expert responsibility.

Throughout the course, participants strengthened their knowledge and practical skills in correctly applying accreditation criteria, comparing the existing situation with established requirements, and properly documenting the results of the assessment in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

Particular attention was also given to questions and discussions during the training sessions. Participants had the opportunity to exchange views on practical cases and receive clarification on issues of interest to them.

At the end of the course, a test was conducted to assess the participants’ level of knowledge and preparedness.

The professional development course is aimed at enhancing the professional competence of experts involved in accreditation processes, ensuring objectivity and consistency in assessment, and strengthening confidence in the activities of qualification assessment centres.
