A meeting was held at the Institute for Development of the National Qualifications System with Eva Jansova, an expert at the European Training Foundation (ETF) specializing in human capital development and skills demand analysis.

The meeting focused on the results of activities implemented under the DARYA II project, the progress achieved, and the priority areas for future cooperation. The parties exchanged views on continuing cooperation within the framework of the project and ensuring the effective implementation of the identified priorities.

Particular attention was paid to the referencing and comparison of Uzbekistan’s National Qualifications Framework with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The ETF representative expressed the Foundation’s readiness to provide methodological and expert support to Uzbekistan throughout this process.

Aligning and comparing the National Qualifications Framework with the EQF is important for making qualifications awarded in Uzbekistan more transparent, understandable and comparable at the international level, supporting their international recognition, and enhancing citizens’ professional mobility in the international labour market.
