A meeting was held at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System with representatives of UNESCO and international experts Brigitte Godet and Jean-Marc Castejon. The meeting took place as part of the international experts’ latest technical mission to the Institute. The discussions focused on the development of the National Qualifications Register, the design of a unified template for qualification standards, and the introduction of micro-credentials into the national qualifications system. The expected outcomes of the experts’ mission for the Institute were also defined. During the visit, seminars and training sessions will be conducted with the participation of the working group on micro-credentials and members of the Transport Sector Council. These sessions will provide an opportunity to test the draft National Qualifications Register and the qualification standard template using practical examples. As a result of this work, qualifications awarded in the country, including micro-credentials, will be included in the National Qualifications Register and described according to a unified standard. This will enhance the transparency of qualifications and lay the groundwork for their comparability and recognition at the international level.
