The Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System successfully organized a professional development course for candidates seeking appointment as Directors of Qualification Assessment Centres. The training brought together candidates selected based on the recommendations of the Sectoral Councils. The programme was designed to promote modern approaches to the effective management and operation of Qualification Assessment Centres. Over the course of three days, participants acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills covering the regulatory and legal framework of the National Qualifications System, the National and Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks, occupational standards, the organization and management of Qualification Assessment Centres, accreditation procedures, the use of the unified digital platform, the organization of professional examinations, and the documentation of qualification assessment results. The training programme combined lectures, practical sessions, case study analyses, and interactive discussions, enabling participants to strengthen the competencies required for managing Qualification Assessment Centres in accordance with current national requirements and international best practices. At the conclusion of the programme, participants' knowledge and competencies were assessed through a final examination. Those who successfully completed the course were awarded official professional development certificates. The course contributes to strengthening the managerial capacity of Qualification Assessment Centre leaders, enhancing the quality, transparency, and impartiality of qualification assessment processes, and further advancing Uzbekistan's National Qualifications System in line with international standards while supporting the development of the country's human capital.
